“Tune
In to Fight Cancer” on KDST: Thursday, August 26

The American Cancer
Society, along with REAL COUNTRY 99-3 KDST, will be hosting a
first-time event called “Tune In to Fight Cancer” on Thursday, August
26th from 9-11 a.m. This radiothon will help raise money for the
Dyersville Area Relay For Life, which fell short of its fundraising
goal.
The American Cancer Society and KDST—99.3 FM are asking community
members to tune in to KDST and call in between 9:00-11:00 am with a
pledge to help reach the fundraising goal. They will be accepting
credit card donations over the phone, as well as your pledges of cash
and check.
“Cancer does not stop, and neither can we stop in trying to reach our
fundraising goals,” said Jodi Federspiel, American Cancer Society
Senior Community Relations staff partner. “We continue to help
more people facing cancer with our programs and services, and the
support of our local community is crucial in doing that.”
