Dyersville Chamber & Consumers Help Local Businesses

Chamber member businesses have the opportunity to gather input from consumers regarding their store thanks to the Dyersville Area Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is gathering a list of individuals who would like to be a part of a group to help a store or business grow. No background or expertise is required.

Businesses would contact the Chamber to set a time for the group to meet. The business would put together questions or a list of ideas to discuss with the group. “This is a great opportunity for businesses to survey a group of people about their store and to brainstorm ideas at the same time,” said Karla Thompson, Executive Director of the Dyersville Area Chamber of Commerce.

“With the Ben Franklin store closing, businesses are taking a closer look at their inventory to see where they can expand and sometimes getting other people’s perspective can be an eye opener,” said Thompson.

Topics of discussion can include but are not limited to: items not available in the Dyersville area, marketing, store appearance, niche items and promotional concepts. This is a great opportunity for business to get honest feedback and the best part is there is no charge for this service.
