Group To Discuss Fate Of Local Theatre
Posted 10 March 2009
As many may have heard, Manchester's Castle Theater may
be closing. A group of local residents are considering turning the
Castle Theater into a community theater.
On Tuesday, March 24, in conjunction with a special one-time showing of
the 2009 Oscar nominated film "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,"
the group will hold an informational meeting at the Castle Theater in
downtown Manchester for the general public to see if there is enough
community interest to proceed.
Doors will open Tuesday night at 6 p.m. The movie will start at 6:30
p.m. All seats will be $5.
This is a fundraiser to help keep a local theater in Manchester.
If you have questions please contact Jack Klaus at the Manchester Area
Chamber of Commerce at 927-4141.
