Lake Delhi Re-opens to Boaters Posted 20 June 2008 Lake Delhi in Delaware County will re-open this weekend for boating. The Lake Delhi Recreation Association announced last week that due to high waters, the lake would be closed to recreational use for short period of time. Volunteers spent Tuesday and Wednesday this week removing navigation hazards in the lake area. Lake Delhi was actually lowered three feet to help expose unseen hazards lurking just below the water's surface, like boat docks and trees. The lake was refilled Wednesday, June 18.
