Beckman to Approve Hire of New Principal Posted 18 June 2008 Members of the Beckman Board of Education are expected to approve the hiring of Pat Meade as the school's new principal this evening. Meade, a Dyersville area resident, will replace Carol Trueg who is resigning effective July 1 from the post. Meade has been an administrator in the Dubuque Community School District for the past two years, serving as a principal at  George Washington Carver Elementary School. The school board is expected to make the appointment official at tonight's 6:30 p.m. meeting.
