Fire at KWWL Studio in Waterloo Posted 17 June 2008 Last night, Monday, June 16, firefighters were called to the KWWL studios in downtown Waterloo. The NBC affiliate confirmed a small electrical fire caused a power outage and cut television service to a large portion of eastern Iowa shortly before 8 p.m. The station reports no one was hurt in the incident and they were back broadcasting regular programming  at about 1 a.m. this morning, Tuesday.
